Jim Baldo ’76 has been a practicing engineer for 38 years, working full-time while completing two engineering degrees, one in chemistry at the University of Toledo, and the other in computer engineering from the University of South Florida. He received his Ph.D. in software engineering from George Mason University. Jim is currently an associate professor at George Mason University and director of their MS data analytics program. Most of Jim’s career has been with the agencies via employers such as Oracle (14 years), MITRE (5 years), and Institute for Defense Analysis (8 years). He and his wife, Gillian, live in Manassas, Va., and have one grown daughter, Gabriella.
