Jim Bruce ’63

Jim Bruce ’63, a resident of Petersburg and retired teacher and farmer, died November 27. Jim was a member of the SAE fraternity. After retiring from teaching in 1990, he and his wife, Carol Sullins Bruce ’66, owned and operated Deme Acres Golf Course. Jim used his knowledge of farming to help a Monroe, Mich. couple develop the St. Isidore farm program for special needs adults. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, a brother, two sons, a step-son, a step-daughter and six grandchildren.
