Patti F. Smith ’94 co-authored Vanishing Ann Arbor with Britain Woodman, published in June 2019, by Arcadia Publishing. The book takes readers on a written tour of Ann Arbor’s history, beginning when the city was little more than a village in the wilderness. Patti has been referred to as “Ann Arbor’s Biggest Cheerleader,” and is currently a special education teacher and former legal aid lawyer. She is the author of two other books about Ann Arbor.
