I’m especially proud of our designation as the number two college for innovation. Higher education needs to be reformed and Adrian is leading the way.
Dr. Jeffrey Docking

President of Adrian College

In its 2021 edition of America’s Best Colleges, U.S. News & World Report has once again ranked Adrian College as a top regional college in the Midwest.

Adrian College was named to the best “Regional Colleges, Midwest” section for the seventh consecutive year, placing 17th, and was once again listed number two in the “Most Innovative Schools” category. The College placed sixth in “Undergraduate Teaching,” and was listed for the seventh-straight year as a “Best Value” regional college, placing 16th. Adrian College placed 19th in “Senior Capstone,” 23rd in “First-Year Experience,” and 27th in “Social Mobility.”

“Adrian College has established itself as a distinctive and innovative educational leader in the United States. I’m especially proud of our designation as the number two college for innovation. Higher education needs to be reformed and Adrian is leading the way,” said Dr. Jeffrey Docking, president of Adrian College.

The continued recognition as a “Most Innovative” institution recognizes colleges and universities that are making the most innovative improvements in terms of curriculum, students, campus life, technology or facilities. This U.S. News & World Report announcement, coupled with this year’s record enrollment, affirms the positive direction the College continues to move in. Adrian College remaining on the list of “Best Value Schools” takes into account the institution’s commitment to academic quality and the cost of attendance.

“The single-most important thing we can do for our students and our community is to inspire a culture of innovation and critical thinking,” Docking said. “Adrian College recognizes the need for students to be fueled by innovative programs, forward-thinking projects and inspirational surroundings.”
